About Our CEO
Karen Grando worked as a manager at Citicorp. She stopped working to raise her children and in 1986 she was spending time at her late husband’s office when she realized that his company was turning down asbestos remediation work.
Karen decided that there was money to be made, so she opened International Asbestos Removal, Inc. in February 1987. Karen has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked on several projects ever since.
